Crowd Release: Notice of Filming and Photography

Published 24 Apr 2026

By attending Christ the King School's Family Fun Fest on Saturday, 12 September 2026 you are entering an area where photography, audio and video recording may occur.

Images and recordings may be captured by Christ the King School, the CTK School P&F, and approved third-party photographers engaged by the school. Third-party photographers are required to comply with relevant privacy, consent and child safety requirements.

For current Christ the King School students, participation in photography and videography activities will be determined by the student's existing Brisbane Catholic Education (BCE) Media and Student Materials Consent status. Siblings attending the event will follow the same consent status recorded for the enrolled CTK School student within their family.

Adults who do not wish to be photographed or filmed are asked to speak with Mrs Calista Simmons or Mrs Kim Lyons prior to the event.

Children and adults who are not to be photographed of filmed will be provided with a pink wristband to wear on the day. This wristband will assist photographers and event staff in clearly identifying those who are not to be included in photographs, video footage or promotional materials.

Every reasonable effort will be made to respect the wishes of individuals wearing a pink wristband. However, attendees should be aware that incidental inclusion in background images may occasionally occur in large group or public event settings. Where such images are identified, the school will take reasonable steps to ensure they are not used or published.

By attending the event, adult attendees who have not identified themselves as opting out of photography acknowledge that photographs, video footage and audio recordings in which they may appear may be used by Christ the King School and the CTK School P&F for school-related purposes, including newsletters, websites, social media, publications, community communications and future promotional materials.
