Parents and Friends

The Parents and Friends Advisory Group (the P&F) is an integral part of Christ the King Primary School and is proud to be an active and inclusive parent representative body. As an advisory group operating as a committee of the school, the CTK School P&F works in collaboration with the school's leadership team and staff to serve, support and enhance the school community for the benefit of all CTK School students.

All parents and carers of currently enrolled students are automatically members of the P&F and are warmly invited to get involved in whatever way suits them. Whether it's attending events, volunteering your time or skills, helping with fundraising, taking on a committee or coordinator role, or contributing donations or sponsorship, every contribution helps support our school community.

In particular, the P&F:

  • provides an avenue of support and information to aid the involvement of parents/carers in their children’s education and the school community
  • promotes the development of collaboration between parents/carers and our school staff
  • organises events, activities and initiatives that bring families together to strengthen community spirit and a sense of belonging
  • raises funds to support initiatives that benefit the school community
  • provides confidential pastoral care and support for families in need
  • promotes the principles of Catholic education and a distinctively Christian community in the school.

The Christ the King School P&F meets every term, with the annual general meeting held annually in November.
