NAB AFL Auskick and Superkick are programs designed for children aged five to 12 years to introduce them to Australian Rules Football.
About AFL Auskick
AFL Auskick is your child's introduction to Australian Rules Football. With game-based activities, kids' learning is disguised as playing. Children don't need Aussie Rules experience.
The Auskick program is suitable for children aged five to seven years (or students in Prep to Year 2 at Christ the King School, Graceville).
Through the activities, children get active and confident learning about the game. Children are generally divided into age groups and there is also the option to have an all-girls group (depending on numbers).
There are plenty of laughs and lots of fun to be had along the way.
About AFL Superkick
Superkick is for every kid aged seven to 12 years, regardless of their skill level of their background. It's an opportunity for children to develop their skills without any pressure.
The program promises training and match play all in one session. Each session has a mix of skill games and football specific skills, followed by a 40-minute modified match.
The program will run for six weeks in Term 3. All sessions will be held at Graceville Memorial Park on Fridays from 7:20am to 8:20am, commencing Friday, 31 July.
Registration is $80 per child and includes an AFL Goodie Bag. You can register online.
