Christ the King School is excited to welcome back the Grow Your Game Touch Football program — an energetic and inclusive sporting opportunity for students from Prep to Year 6, regardless of experience level.
This six-week program is designed to develop students’ skills and understanding of touch football through a variety of engaging activities and game play. Each session builds incrementally, helping students grasp and apply the fundamentals of the sport in a fun and supportive environment. From basic ball handling to teamwork and strategy, students will grow in confidence and ability week by week.
Sessions are held on Wednesdays from 3pm to 4pm at Graceville Memorial Park. Students will meet coaches at the Undercover Area at 2:50pm, where a roll will be taken before walking together to the park. Parents and guardians are asked to collect their children promptly at 4pm from the park.
The cost of the program is $100 per student, payable upon registration. The program runs across Weeks 3–4 and Weeks 6–9, offering a total of six sessions.
Participation in Grow Your Game also opens the door for students to represent Christ the King at Brisbane Catholic Education Zone Gala Days, where they can showcase their skills and enjoy the excitement of inter-school competition.
