Principal's Welcome

Welcome to Christ the King School – a vibrant and nurturing community with a rich heritage of almost 90 years.

As Principal, it is both a privilege and a joy to lead a school so deeply woven into the fabric of our local community. At Christ the King School, we are committed to developing the whole child – academically, socially, emotionally, physically and spiritually – through an innovative, child-focused curriculum grounded in excellence.

Our passionate teachers, dedicated support staff and generous volunteers are the heart of our school. Together, they foster a culture of high expectations and meaningful engagement, where every student is encouraged to thrive and achieve their personal best.

We provide a contemporary learning environment that equips students with the skills and confidence they'll need to flourish in a rapidly changing world. Technologies are thoughtfully embedded in our Literacy and Numeracy programs, ensuring students are future-ready white remaining deeply grounded in the present.

One of the hallmarks of Christ the King School is the strength of the relationships we build. In our small, close-knit setting, every child is known and valued. We place the highest priority on creating a safe, inclusive atmosphere where students feel a strong sense of belonging and connection with their teachers.

We celebrate diversity and are proud to nurture understanding and appreciation of all cultures and beliefs, with particular respect for Catholic and First Nations spiritualities. Our commitment to building strong partnerships with parents and caregivers is central to everything we do – we believe education is most powerful when it's a shared journey.

As I settle into this role, one of the greatest privileges has been meeting with families as they navigate this important decision in their children's future. I hope the information provided here gives you a meaningful glimpse into what makes Christ the King School, Graceville such a special place.
