With the end of the year fast approaching, Christ the King School's P&F Association Committee are reflecting on a fantastic 2023 and planning for an equally fantastic 2024.
The Committee of 2023 have worked incredibly hard and given so much love and energy to CTK School throughout the course of the year. Over the coming weeks, they will be formally acknowledged to say ‘thank you’ for their efforts.
The P&F Association would also like to take the opportunity to thank all CTK School parents and caregivers for their support this year.
"The P&F Association would not be able to achieve what it does to enhance our school community without the support and contributions of all CTK School families," P&F Association President, Tegan Russell says.
"Having had the pleasure of meeting and engaging with many in our School community over the past year through various P&F Association events and activities, I would like to invite parents and caregivers to consider their involvement in the P&F Association for 2024."

The CTK School P&F Association will hold it's annual general meeting on Tuesday, 14 November at 6:30pm. The meeting will be held in the CTK School Library.

How Parents and Caregivers Can Make a Difference
Contributing to the P&F Association can look different for everyone – from taking on a formal Committee role, to volunteering time to help plan one of the Association's events throughout the year, or attending and supporting P&F Association initiatives. Every bit of generosity in giving time, donations or energy to the Association is valuable and appreciated.
"Importantly, the driving force behind our involvement in P&F activities is our children and, through supporting the school, ensuring their experience at CTK School is the best it can possibly be," P&F Association Vice President Kate Blumke says..
"Life is busy. Time is precious. We understand that even finding the time to read the attachments to this email can be difficult –particularly at this time of year when our energy levels are slowly depleting."
Acknowledging these busy-ness and time challenges, the P&F Association is asking parents and caregivers to consider how they will make CTK School the best it can possibly be for their child, or children, in 2024.
"If in answering this, you feel you may consider taking on a role with the P&F Committee, we would love to have a chat with you about the roles or receive your nomination for a specific role for 2024," Mrs Russell says.
She says most of the roles can be done in pairs "if you’d like to grab a friend and share the load between two of you"
At the AGM, all Committee positions will be declared vacant and nominations sought for the positions detailed in the Notice. Further information on each role is included in the attached Overview. The Nomination Form is also below and the P&F Association would be grateful to receive nominations by next Monday, 13 November.
"As a P&F Association, we can promise an inclusive, friendly, supportive environment where all ideas and suggestions are welcomed, where many laughs are had, many Tim Tams are consumed and many lifelong friendships are established and nurtured," Mrs Blumke says.
"To quote our beautiful CTK School song, ‘CTK, I’ve found my home in you’… We look forward to your support in making this ‘home’ we have chosen for our children, the best it can possibly be in 2024."
